Spaceship two doesn’t look much like a shuttlecock? Is it still based on the same principle?
I don’t think suborbital is going to have a very long life. I expect it may find point to point being a profitable niche perhaps.
The real race will happen, but not until enough entrants get to the starting line. By which I mean, several ships in orbit owned by various people and countries with landers. It will cost a billion dollars just to fuel each of these ships.
