So I’m not the only one to notice the lack of perspective on the left.
Speaking of lack of perspective, economics ignorance is particularly bad. People who don’t know what capitalism or free markets are. The anti-corporatists who have zero clue why corporate personhood came about or what it actually means, but they sure don’t like it. Or who want something, like recently, net neutrality, and think it’s just fine for an unelected government agency (in this case, the FCC) to make up rules (even though it’s pretty obvious, with Biden in the White House, that the media, telecoms, and associated ne’erdowells will have a great deal of influence over what the FCC rules). People who can’t see why it would be bad for a majority of voters to not pay taxes.
And then there’s the really creepy types who deliberately advocate destructive policies. Things like mass starvation or vast destruction of wealth become features not bugs.
You know it’s pretty bad when Jon Stewart makes fun of a fellow liberal.
Stevie was a goober when he was a state senator and he is still a goober … It just made me cringe when his gooberness in this clip was displayed in this clip.
In the meantime….Iowahawk deserves a Mark Twain award. IMHO of course.
The funniest man on the Internet, no doubt about it. The fact that he is also bitingly satiric at the same time is simply amazing.

That sounds like prime material for the Socratic dialogues on xtranormal. Maybe one of the characters could be the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.
Ironically, it’s a repeat from ’05. Even more ironically, Cohen was attacked by racists even further to the left in the last two primaries. Both of which facts show just how limited the PC repertoire is.
