There is more evidence that the media influenced Eric Fuller than that Sarah Palin influenced the murderer.
Oh, but don’t you see the difference? The media doesn’t influence anyone — they simply reflect the mainstream, sensible views of peaceful leftists like Eric Fuller.
[Update a while later]
Where the media leads, no one follows.
This could be the pivot point. Shame them. Shame them. Shame them. Then shame them some more. It’s time to turn the tide on the media.
Note that even though they may admit they got it wrong the damage is done and the leftards will continue the meme even though completely discredited. We need to keep on them unrelenting.

The problem, ken, is that the media have no shame.
Any bets that someone will spin Fuller’s threat as an act of self-defense?
You’re right Larry, but that’s not the point. Shame them and some will begin to understand how shameful their acts are. Keep up the pressure and eventually more will begin to see it. Then those that support the media and its shameful ways will begin to lose their bandwagon.
We can no longer afford to have the media define the message. It’s too important to let them. We are at the edge of the abyss.
Children should not be telling adults what to think. That’s the problem with current society in a nutshell. Children like Marx thinking they reason like an adult. They do not. We need to call them on it every single time (I recommend with a heavy blunt instrument.) Or should I have said ‘crosshairs?’
For example, let’s hope that “Together We Thrive” actually is Obama’s 2012 campaign theme. We should beat the hell out of them for that right before the election (timing is everything.)
Heck, I thought it was the pivot point when CBS fabricated Bush’s ANG records. There will be no pivot point, the mainstream media will continue to be a voice for modern statism…er liberalism.
“Shame” is Oldspeak.
From the New York Times (better late than never):

Apparently the shooter was a 911 “Truther” whose “anger would well up at the sight of President George W. Bush, or in discussing what he considered to be the nefarious designs of government. “

When I say they have no shame, I mean they’re so convinced of their moral and intellectual superiority that anything they do is justifiable. You can point out their errors, lies and distortions until you collapse and they’ll still never admit they were wrong or that they did anything shameful.
No, the best thing we can do is continue the trend of declining press readership and viewership. Hit them where it hurts, their livelihood. I’m not suggesting that we stop pointing out their errors and lies. I’m saying that trying to shame them is a waste of time.
It may be ineffective against some and waste some time. However, imagine we didn’t do it at all. Isn’t that abdication?
Like it or not, the bigger megaphone often wins because most people are on the sidelines listening rather than engaging in the battle. It’s those on the sidelines that need to see how shameful the actions are. Not the ones that have no shame.
I agree they need to be hit in their wallets. We need to work at being more effective. Warp 9. Engage.
Indeed. Look what a bunch of conservative Yalies accomplished by standing athwart history and yelling, “Stop!”
