Another rail car goes sliding off the tracks. I think one of the worst things about this law is the glacial pace with which it falls apart. Even now, almost a full year after its passage, I still have trouble comprehending the folly of the people who backed this law and why they thought it would be any good for the US.

Perhaps they didn’t really think it’d be any good for the US as a whole but would be a lot of good for them personally. That law – if fully implemented – gives them a lot of control over just about every aspect of our lives with the added bonus of thousands of new government employees who’ll most likely vote for Democrats.
Fortunately, the last election showed that dozens of those behind this legislative monstrocity are now having to find new employment.
