Well there is the whole 297 thing. Which will be around for a while barring a perfect next 6 years for one P. Manning.
Well, it’s even more obvious that Tarvaris Jackson is a long, long way from filling Favre’s shoes, and that Minnesota has massively failed to spend themselves into a competitive team.
Actually, you’re right – nothing new here.
Actually, though, Detroit itself is now up to a 3 and 4 record at home this year, after beating the Packers Sunday. Definitely improving. I’ll go out on a limb here – the Lions will win a road game next year! You heard it here first…
…the Lions will win a road game next year!
Right, Henry, pull the other one.
Well, I’m assuming they’ll be scheduled for at least one road game against a truly hapless team, plus their observed rate of improvement over the last two years continuing. (If they’d had a game at Carolina, they might have done it this year…) Given those factors, I think it’s not at all unlikely.
heh. I was wrong! The Lions won a road game a *week* later, not a year later, soundly showing up certain pessimists… snark, snark!
