when I was in the Michigan band the cheerleaders used to do backflips off the field wall for every point whenever Michigan scored. Best I saw was a game against Northwest where Michigan scored 69 points. The cheerleaders looked punchdrunk after the last TD.
Michigan is now bowl qualified.

As a friend and I put it, the game looked like “A PS3 All-time Classic” (or X-Box, or Playstation2, take your pick).
Basketball was a close second in comparison, of course. But when teams just keep scoring like that, it reminds me much more of two people competing on a video game console.
