And justice died. And some of the lies were under oath. I’m shocked, shocked.
Is there room under the bus for Eric Holder?
[Update late morning]
Here’s more:
The NBBP case has been virtually ignored by the mainstream media for almost two years. It has been dismissed as “small potatoes” by some who do not seem to understand its implications, particularly its underscoring of the bias of this administration against the race-neutral enforcement of our voting-rights laws. But this latest development shows that the political leadership of this Justice Department has been much more involved in the case that it has been willing to admit (and in fact has denied under oath). So far, these leaders have faced virtually no repercussions for their misbehavior. Let’s hope that soon will change.
It may not change until there’s a change at the top.
And Scooter Libby said, “Heh.”
I would seriously love to see the Liberal fireworks that would erupt if Obama actually threw Holder under the bus for defending the New Black Panther Party’s agenda to use intimdation and violence to help get Obama elected.
Obama being accused of being both ungrateful and an Uncle Tom in 3 … 2 … 1 …
I hate to put myself in the line of fire here, being a Monday and all, but wasn’t this BBP Intimidation just 2 people? I know I know, even ONE person doing this is too many, but could someone provide a link to show a bigger scope to this than just 2 people?
These were two people caught on a recording, intimidation has been reported in many places. But that’s not the problem. The justice department lied. What was it Nixon did to get himself impeached (he didn’t, he stepped down first) oh yeah, obstruction of justice.
Thanks, Ken. I understand. Not that I have any loyalty to the current administration, but paying 2 guys to dress up in their BBP garb and stand in front of a polling place looking tough has got to be the easiest ways to create a problem for a newly elected (black) president that I have heard. Pus it stokes racial fear in white people, a double win. All for 500 bucks.
But you’re right, a crime is a crime.

What can anyone say to that?.
Black Panther paid to intimidate people by some shadow Republican network?
Here was an opportunity for Obama and the Democrats, after 8 years of raising the claim of voter intimidation, to stand up to their own party. It would of been win/win.
IIRC, the head panther there was also one of the official Democrat Party pole watchers. For some reason people focus more on his affiliation with the Black Panthers than with the Democrat party, must be the uniform.
It’s ironic that he has the nerve to call America a “nation of cowards”, but has no problem cowering away from the truth.

Dirty tricks, eh? Have you been paying attention to who does most all of these dirty tricks? Technically it’s the American taxpayer, but that’s only because our corrupt leaders have pulled the wool over the people.
It’s acorn and unions and many other community organizations with connections to our liar in chief. A really good reason for downsizing our government is to make it easier to audit how the corruption flows.
If $500 could clean up this mess you can have mine.

Ken, I agree 100%. I wasn’t claiming that my scenario was true, just that if I was in charge of dirty tricks for the Obama opposition, I would have given whoever came up with this particular dirty trick a couple of weeks extra salary.
I once worked close enough to home to go have my lunch there, while watching Dallas reruns. I learned a lot from JR Ewing, and I don’t put anything past any career politician, political operative, or political party.
Wodun wrote “IIRC, the head panther there was also one of the official Democrat Party pole watchers.”
Thank you. That’s exactly why I asked my question in the first place, and think that it should be the biggest part of the story. That an official pole watcher was using the BBP to either make some sort of Black Power statement, or to intimidate voters (frankly, a big guy in paramilitary garb with a nightstick is intimidating to most women and the elderly regardless of anyone’s race).
I really wish I had been there, as I think that it would have been easy to rally a enough patriots to send these jokers packing.
I’ve never done it, but I’ve heard that official pole watching is soporific. After an hour or so, the poor guy was probably brandishing the nightstick in an attempt to keep himself awake.
I have watched Dallas (unofficially, of course). That was soporific too.
