The UN “Human Rights” Council has now condemned Israel more than all other countries on the planet combined.

Well, of course. It is the worst country in the history of the universe.

And who would expect otherwise, with such saints and luminaries as this running the UNHCR?

Really, I think that it’s time to move the whole shebang from Turtle Bay to Brussells, the true “capital of the free world.” After all, the anti-dumbass says so.

  3. Still no action by the UN against DPRK sinking a ROK warship in direction violation of a UN ceasefire.

    And no, I don’t expect the UN Human Rights commission to say anything about DPRK. I mean just look at that paradise town of Kijong-dong with its national flag waving high and proud surround by lovely communes. Who wouldn’t want to live there?

  4. Is your conclusion based on the last sentence of the story? Because I read it slightly differently.

    With the adoption of yet another resolution critical of Israel, the Council has adopted more resolutions and decisions condemning Israel than all other 191 UN member states combined.

    That, to me, reads as: “The UN has condemned Israel more times than all of its members have condemned Israel, combined.” But, I suppose I can also see how it could be read as “The UN has condemned Israel more times than it has condemned all of its other member nations, combined.” It’s poorly written, in that regard.

  5. Just read another of Prof. Bayefsky’s articles – it is also somewhat poorly written / edited. Perhaps her style, perhaps a sign of the times.

    Rand’s interpretation certainly appears to be correct if taken in the context of the rest of the article.
