The alliance is obvious and out in the open. So when is something real going to be done about it? Sinking blockade runners would have been a good start.
Note how the terrorists always make a big show about the contents of the ships being humanitarian aid when that has absolutely zero to do with the fact that they should have been sunk with all hands just for attempting to run a blockade.
Looks to me like if you want to work in DC you have to have your spine removed first. Then submit to IQ reduction. And have all your teeth pulled.
When you say “the Left” and “Islam”, you paint with far too wide a brush. You can’t meaningfully generalize about very much if you simply refer to “the Left”, and you can’t meaninfully generalize very much if you simply refer to “Islam”. I commented on “the Left” in your the earlier post. As for Islam, here, have some Colin Powell (addressing Republicans, but the lesson applies to you too), maybe it will do you some good:
Well, the correct answer is, [Barak Obama] is not a Muslim, he’s a Christian. He’s always been a Christian. But the really right answer is, what if he is? Is there something wrong with being a Muslim in this country? The answer’s no, that’s not America. Is there something wrong with some seven-year-old Muslim-American kid believing that he or she could be president?”
“Yet, I have heard senior members of my own party drop the suggestion, ‘He’s a Muslim and he might be associated terrorists.’ This is not the way we should be doing it in America.”
“I feel strongly about this particular point because of a picture I saw in a magazine. It was a photo essay about troops who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. And one picture at the tail end of this photo essay was of a mother in Arlington Cemetery, and she had her head on the headstone of her son’s grave. And as the picture focused in, you could see the writing on the headstone. And it gave his awards—Purple Heart, Bronze Star—showed that he died in Iraq, gave his date of birth, date of death. He was 20 years old.”
“And then, at the very top of the headstone, it didn’t have a Christian cross, it didn’t have the Star of David, it had crescent and a star of the Islamic faith. And his name was Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan, and he was an American. He was born in New Jersey. He was 14 years old at the time of 9/11, and he waited until he can go serve his country, and he gave his life.”
“Now, we have got to stop polarizing ourself in this way. And John McCain is as nondiscriminatory as anyone I know. But I’m troubled about the fact that, within the party, we have these kinds of expressions.”
Bob, I don’t think you can imagine how little interest I have in what Colin Powell has to say about anything. If you’re trying to convince me of something, arguing from that particular authority is not just a waste of time, but counter productive.
Right. I wasn’t arguing from authority. I think Powell happened express an important point very well, and I am familiar with what he said because he is famous. No doubt Joe Schmoe also said something similar well, but I’m not familiar with Mr. Schmoe’s speeches.
Powell’s point is irrelevant to mine. Would it make you happier if I said the left and Islamists?
Happier! If you could zoom in on which leftists you really mean, that might (or might not) make me happier too, and more importantly, it could improve your accuracy and make you seem like less of crazy nutcase who Democrats don’t need bother listening to (when in fact, I think on the subject of space policy, everyone should listen to you.)

nothing says leadership of the demonrat party than: barack hussein obama, bill ayers. bernadine dornyn, van johns, jodie evans, et al
george soros, john podesta, his brother tony who works for bp, bp who gave bho lots of money and used to be “beyond petroleum”
I expect if you searched hard enough, you could find Communists who died fighting for the US as well. It doesn’t change the fact that the overwhelming majority of the men who die for America are not only Christian, but in fact right-wing Republicans who strongly support the Second Amendment.

I’ll stop generalizing when the media stops referring to ANSWER

I’ll stop generalizing when the liberal media stops referring to ANSWER as “liberal.” Or when Al Gore renounces his involvement with Communist-funded and -controlled Air America. Or when the Democrats refuse the funds of SEIU and ACORN.
(Sorry, I accidentally submitted too soon).
I might add that if Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan’s mother wasn’t wearing a headscarf, she already had tagged herself for death by stoning in most Muslim countries.
Rand, I said “crazy nutcase”, but I should have said “bigot”. I apologize. I believe you don’t want to sound like a bigot, and I think your broad brush strokes decrease your accuracy and thus make Democratic lawmakers dismiss you because you sound like a bigot. I do think it would be great if Democratic Party lawmakers read your space commentary.
Ken, I think that “fact” is incorrect. The Civil War saw the largest number of Americans who died for their country, followed in order by WWII, WWI, the Vietnam war, and the Korean War. Do you think “the overwhelming majority” of those Americans were “right-wing Republicans”? Certainly the meaning of that phrase changed quite a bit over the years. But moreover, so what? The US Military is non-religious, non-partisan, and is quite open to patriots like Kareem Rashad Sultan Khan.

I don’t think there’s much hope of persuading people who think I’m a racist because I oppose the health-care bill and government overspending that I’m not a bigot when I talk about Islamists and the left, so I might as well just continue to say what I think.
And actually, it seems more like it’s the Republicans in Congress who I’ll have to persuade on space policy. Particularly next year…
Do you think “the overwhelming majority” of those Americans were “right-wing Republicans”?
No, and that’s why I used the word “are” rather than “were.” As things stand now, leftists and Muslims are somewhat less likely to die for America than they are to have three thumbs.

It isn’t the military that keeps the Left out, it’s the Left that keeps the Left out of the military.

but it is alot fun to hear from adam:
The original video is about twenty four minutes long, but the one below distills everything down to the main points of the surrender demand by one Adam Gadahn, an American traitor and Al Qaeda operative.
“Make no mistake about it, Barack, you’re not the popular man you were a year ago. Don’t let the standing ovations you get wherever you go fool you. After all, didn’t they keep applauding George W. Bush until the day
he left office in disgrace?”
Very familiar of him to refer to the President by his first name. The traitor Gadahn goes on to say:
“First, you must pull U.S. soldiers, spies, security advisors, trainers, contractors, robots, drones and all other American personnel, ships and air crafts out of every Muslim land- from Afghanistan to Zanzibar. You must end all support, both moral and material to Israel and bar your citizens from traveling to occupied Palestine or settling there. And you must impose a blanket ban on American trade with the Zionist regime and investment in it. You must free all Muslim captives from your prisons, detention facilities, and concentration camps. Regardless of if they have been recipients of what you call a ‘fair trail’, or not.”
Bob, you have a talent for ignoring context. Using the words, left and Islam, is shorthand for the subset of those that fight against civilizations right to live and let live. Libertarians and conservatives both understand the concept of the individual and he or she should never be confused with a racists view.
You don’t have to point out that not everyone dying for our country is a redneck, born again, christian. We already know that.
We also know that true believers among the left and true believers among Islam are intent on destroying freedom, liberty and lives and perfectly happy to do it hand in hand with each other… all the time proclaiming they hate terror, love peace and nobody better say they aren’t patriots.
Gee Bob, when the leader of the Democrat party, BHO, criticizes Israel and supports “Palestine” and its leadership, I think saying the left and Islamists is perfectly fine, your insults not withstanding. I find your use of the term “bigot” laughable also. Out of 1.3 billion Muslims, hundreds of millions in polls would like to see Israel go the way of the dodo. I have nothing against Arabs or Persians but their religion and their promotion of it scares the hell out of me.
I believe you don’t want to sound like a bigot
Bob, once again, we don’t care what you think. You’ve already demonstrated that you are deluded and irrational beyond our efforts to reason with you. What do we gain by not “sounding like a bigot” to you? In my view, the exercise would be harmful to us, not just a waste of our time, and we’d still sound like bigots to you.
It’s not that he sounds like a bigot Bob, it that your hearing is fucked-up.
In addition to RAnd, I think very highly of some of you (particularly including Karl and Mike), and I’m sorry the feeling isn’t mutual.
Then please quit insinuating those like us are bigots simply because we disagree with the President on a policy basis.
I can assure you I could care less who is the champion of more responsible government from a standpoint of their physical traits.
I care about results and outcomes, not trifiling matters of skin pigmentation.
They can be black, brown, red, yellow, pin-striped, polka-dotted, purple or a combination of all of the above.
They can have eight arms and twelve eyes if they get it right.
I would rather have a giant sentient spider as president than one that looked like Ward Cleaver if the Arachnid understood the limitations emplaced by the Constution and respeceted free markets and private property.
If the Ward Cleaver type was a flaming pinko, then make mine Spidey!
