The next question is whether any insurance reimbursements you are due will be held to be applied against back tax claims.
“These are things where you get a letter from us. Congress was very careful to make sure there was nothing too punitive in this bill.”
Does this include interest? It’s nice to have a more benevolent socialism that isn’t too punitive.
“What there has been is increased chatter on the Internet that has an anti-government sentiment.”
So arguing against overreaching government is now ant-government. Color me outlaw!!
Bill, if you’re not groveling sufficiently before the IRS, hat in hand, literally begging for mercy from the IRS to be excused from making your penalty and/or insurance premiums, you might as well be making your final stand in a desert compound as far as the lefties are concerned.
Tangent: in light of state AGs suing the Feds, I wonder how robust state support will be for continuing policies which do not conform to the federal coverage mandates. If insurance commissioners are on-board to keep people covered under federally non-compliant policies and policy-holders are still willing to pay the premiums, what exactly are the Feds going to do about about it?
