1. According to USGS, there was a 2.2 in south LA at 8:29 local.

2. Yeah, I see it now. They didn’t have it there when I wrote the post. Looks like it was pretty close.

3. We had a plant explosion in Seabrook. I felt it at my desk, but I don’t think it is what you felt.

   One of my online students worked at the office that handles the website. He said it usually takes a few minutes to post as a staff geologist needs to review the info first before approving it. They want to make sure the information is fairly accurate before releasing it.
