  1. Nominate Liz Cheney in 2012 to run against Obama.

    Please.

As for Maureen Dowd, I agree she is over-rated and mean spirited and we’d all be better off if she stopped writing columns.

  2. At this rate, Bill, Gingrich/Limbaugh could beat Obama handily in 2012. He’s been President less than a year, and only 43% would vote for him again. As he appears incapable of learning from experience, or at least is massively devoted to a radical leftist and minimally liberal agenda, that number’s likely to drop to somewhere around 3rd-party levels in a couple of years.

It’s okay now to admit embarassment over voting for the empty suit. You bought the hype, people have done that before, but now’s past time to own up and admit you made a mistake.

  3. Long past time to dispense with the oligarchial elite. No more relatives of Presidents and Vice Presidents or even Senators and Representitives running for office.

    Enough.

Wait! 43% of his voters would vote for him again, meaning that 57% of the people who voted for him in 2008 would *not* do it again? Do I understand that correctly?

  5. I worded that wrong, Mary. 43% of voters would vote for Obama now, as opposed to the ~51% who did originally.

His negatives continue to be exposed, while every positive has turned out to be charade and wishful thinking.

  6. I don’t think the election will be that easy for the Republicans. All the Republicans have to do is nominate a real turkey and Obama slides through to another term. Someone like Gingrich or Limbaugh probably would do it. A candidate who only has popularity among people who never would have voted for Obama anyway isn’t going to get the Republicans anywhere.

  7. Um, Karl, people who voted for Obama and wouldn’t anymore are likely to sit this out, or as in 2000 vote whoever plays the Nader role.
