I’m watching Michigan demonstrate why it’s the worst 4-0 team in the country against the Spartans. They seem to be reverting to the team that they were last year. Last week’s win against Indiana may have been their last this season.
[Post-game update — the above was posted in the third quarter]
Well, they almost pulled off another one, like Notre Dame and Indiana, but their luck ran out in overtime.
Next week in Iowa City at Iowa’s homecoming, (on national television, I hope), should be an interesting game. Iowa is 5-0, but, other than Penn State, the wins haven’t been that great, either.
Now that Michigan has fallen out of the Top 25, a national spotlight next weekend seems less likely. The fact that Iowa is ranked 12/14, and it’s a Big Ten matchup, might be the only thing that keeps them on the air next weekend.
I’m looking forward to the game, either way. Go Hawks! 🙂
This wipes out all the Goodwill Ricky Ricardo accumlated by beating the Fighting Irish three weeks ago. I’m officially back to wanting him out of town on a rail, Lloyd Carr could have done at least this well this year, with out a record 3-9 collapse last year or a practice scandal.
