…filmed in the Shuttle. It should be spectacular. The future will belong to digital, though. In fact, if Constellation goes forward as planned, and they actually redo Apollo, the biggest difference will be in the quality of the imagery returned.

We got to go to a ‘pre-screening’ of the IMAX video a few weeks ago. While not in the final form, it was stunningly vivid and the 3-D effects were fantastic.
If any of you gets a chance to see this, you really should. You will not be disappointed.
I’ve already seen the shots from the shuttle film and it will blow you away. The 3-D up-close shot of the launch was a huge adrenaline rush. Sadly, they did not get film of my instrument (COS) being installed. Nice film of Costar being removed…and then they moved into night. Sigh.
James Cameron is one of those guys you need for this kind of movie.I have no doubt this will look jaw dropping.Nice impressions ian,and as animator in progress i cant wait to see the work done in this film as the 3D will surely be taken to another level….
