…has formed against the empire of the space iron triangle: The Next Step in Space:
The Next Step in Space coalition is a growing group of businesses and organizations working towards making human commercial space flight a reality.
All the members seem to be NewSpace, not old.
No XCOR, I see.
May the Force be with them.
The ISS is perhaps not a low entry barrier high flight rate high growth market.
Where are the many new space station and depot companies that will create such markets? Is it time for them yet?
Bigelow seems the only one, and they seem to be engineering in the commercial ELV mold, not the much lower cost small RLV serious orbital assembly mold of new space the next generation.
“Commercially procured crew and cargo services to the International Space Station (ISS) do not compete with the Constellation Program, which is under development to explore beyond low-Earth orbit (LEO).”
Some rebellion.
Ok, there are so many space coalitions, associations and foundations around .. anyone care to put together a map with some cardinal directions marked on them and the activities outlined ?
Sounds like a job for xkcd.org
