Senator Kennedy would not have been beholden to his namesake legislation. He would still have gone to the best hospitals for care — maybe on some Caribbean island at some point as doctors and innovative health care providers look for cheaper, less regulated ways to deliver stellar care.
Well, naturally. When Obama said that “everyone has to have skin in the game” he wasn’t talking about himself or his peers. Duh!
“KopechneCare” seems appropriate if you consider the predictable consequences. Also, if they’re going to keep mentioning Camelot, it’s only fair we keep mentioning the Lady in the Lake.
Oddly, another Melissa postulates that Mary Jo, if only she’d known how the Left would champion her numbnut killer, might have thrown herself in front of the car (after the BJ, naturally.)
(* to avoid wasting a perfectly good car)
What ever happened to that car? It belongs in a museum.
One wonders if any of the Kennedy clan ever watched this film:

I personally would be all for TeddyCare. What’s to hate?
You get a round-the-clock nurse, a medical helicopter and plane for your infrequent trips to work, the best doctors money can buy, and absolutely no pressure to consider suicide.
But the absolute best part of having TeddyCare would be: After you can’t afford the bills anymore, they get sent to the Kennedy Estate.
