This is pretty funny. I thought I’d post it since I’m moving back to LA.

Welcome to the Golden State. Be sure to visit Santa Cruz, too.
Another successful Florida escapee! I must say the one time I was in LA I enjoyed it very much.
If you’re moving to CA, you must have an incredible job offer, a stack of winning lottery tickets, or Sarah and John Conner’s army.

The Large Hadron Collider, and California…name something that might create a black hole, and a research facility in Europe.

It’s not necessarily my first choice, but a) it finally gets me out of Florida after my five-year exile and b) it is financially advantageous to us to do so right now, for a number of reasons that I won’t discuss, despite the fiscal mess that the state is in.
You gotta do what you gotta do.
If my company wanted to relocate me to California, they’d have to give me a substancial pay raise just to account for the difference in cost of living (houses, fuel, taxes, ect). As for the quality of life (Colorado vs California), well they’d have to pay me a LOT more. As we say at work, it’d have to be “six figures, and the first one not less than a 3.”
I’ve been to California many times and have 2 grandsons in San Diego. It can be a great place to visit but there’s just no way I’d ever willingly live there.

Well, we already own a house there.
Hmm. The only problem I see with the commercial is that boy cows take a little more effort to milk, and they don’t mention that.
[sputter, choke, snort!] MG, you topped the commercial!
