Yeah….always whining about the revolution, denied, and true communism…
Most of them grew up to be stock brokers and bond traders. Now they ride their $50K Harleys on weekends and try and convince themselves they’re relevant, and ‘bad’.
Together with Lenin, he (not Stalin) established the Gulag system, the secret police, and other major institutions of Soviet repression. Trotsky also played a leading role in engineering the first, abortive collectivization of Soviet agriculture – which led to a deliberately engineered famine that killed several million people in 1920-21.
It’s easy to see why so many Leftists are fond of Trotsky. He helped consolidate government power, used the police to get rid of opponents, established rule by the elite, and even solving the population problem. Given his accomplishments, what’s not for a Leftist to love?
