Alan Boyle doesn’t review the movie per se, but rather talks about its making and makers.

Perhaps unfortunately, while all this was going on my primary source of information about it bought seriously into the conspiracy edge on why MirCorp failed. I got so tired of hearing about it, I lost interest in the whole thing. Kind of fun to wonder what could have happened, though.
The ITAR issues associated with the tether that was to be used for orbital re-boost don’t require “conspiracy” labels to warrant concern.
Anyway, working to get the Obama Administration on record as being supportive of future privately owned LEO stations would seem a worthwhile undertaking.
From a comment at Alan Boyle’s site it looks like one of the “spare” Mir stations is now a tourist attraction near Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

I wonder if this is a “real” Mir that could have gone into space or merely some sort of mock up.
