The most beautiful politicians in the world.
As Glenn Reynolds notes, for some reason, neither Barney Frank or Chris Dodd made the list. Not even John Edwards. Of course, the contest may have been restricted to the distaff. And as one commenter notes, the fact that Sarah Palin came in 24th may be a result of nationalized eye care in Spain. But the real shocker is Hillary Clinton coming in ahead of Kirsten Gillebrand. Some might wonder why she’s even on the list. I think that the fact that she is, and that Palin is so low, is a reflection of political prejudices.
Also, amusingly, if one links to the original article, it lists Palin as “vice president elect.” Would that she had been. Especially if Senator McCain’s health was sinking. And I suspect a lot more people wish that now than did a few months ago.
This is the same publication, the Daily Mail not
Don Surber, he’s one of the good guy, had their fashion editor, describe her, as a ‘sexless
hockey mom, despite the 150,000 wardrobe’ they really ought to change their prescriptions over there, And I concur with your view of the caption
Hillary outranks Segolene Royal?!?!?!?!???
I suspect performance-suppressing drugs.
I suspect that if Gillebrand was as well known to the general public as Hillary she would have placed considerably higher.

I think that the fact that she is, and that Palin is so low, is a reflection of bizarre sexual fetishism.
There, fixed it for you …
It’s a pity that Mary Landrieu and Sonia Ghandhi
were not included.
Alessandra Mussolini didn’t make the list.
(link SFW – it’s just a Wikipedia bio. Don’t do an unfiltered Gogle image search around the kiddies.)
I was surprised to see Belinda Stronach missing as well.
She’s no longer in office. She didn’t run for reelection last year, and someone else took her riding.
Hmmmmmm…
Errr…that didn’t come out quite as intended… 😉
Note to self. Don’t read Rand’s posts after sipping iced tea. (wipes keyboard)
Maybe “grabbed her seat” would have been better.
