Mickey Kaus notes that the mystery of the unreliable Nissan Versa is explained. I only mention this because it’s what I got for a rental from Enterprise. I’ve had it almost a week now, with no problems so far.

It never breaks down, but it does go on strike.
…and it will always yield the right of way, even when it’s not supposed to.
This would be Renault the company that saved Nissan. The Renault chairman is considered something of a hero in Japan.
I think that Renault is also the worlds most profitable car company. Much of French industry is disturbingly good. It’s a good thing they’re hobbled by their laws and state sector.
