A Legend In His Own Mind

A self assessment from the Veep elect:

He said he would bring more to the job than any of his predecessors, except possibly Lyndon B. Johnson. “I know as much or more than Cheney,” Mr. Biden said. “I’m the most experienced vice president since anybody.”

Joe Biden is a man with much to be modest about, but he doesn’t seem to realize it.

  1. This is why politicians no longer wear stove pipe hats.

Between finding one that will sit on a pointed head and one to fit atop their egos, it’s simply out of the question.

  2. For goodness sake. The idea that Joe Biden is an intellectual lightweight is as vapid and clueless as the idea that Dan Quayle, George W. Bush and Sarah Palin are intellectual lightweights. These are all smart, well informed people. Wrong about many things, no doubt. Welcome to the human condition.

But Joe does seem to have a Senatorial sized ego.

  3. Joe Biden is a pompous ass and a condescending twit, and if he were half as smart as he thinks he is he’d be ten times smarter than he actually is.

  4. Old saying: The clueless are always clueless that they are clueless.
BTW, didn’t he just say that anybody can be vice-president? I think so.

LoL. At times I wish they did sport top hats and monocles still. That way we’d be able to identify the real enemy combatants.
