This has actually been true since I switched to Word Press, but it’s now possible to view specific category posts. For instance, by clicking on the space category, you can see only space stuff (for those who have complained over the years that they like my space posts, but aren’t interested in, or are put off by, my political posts). Likewise, those who like the politics without the space can use this page instead. Or any of the other categories, though those two are probably updated most often. Same thing applies to people who have me on their blogroll as a service to their readers, but don’t necessarily want to subject them to what they might consider off-topic blather (e.g., Alan Boyle or Clark Lindsey, or Jon Goff might only want to blogroll the space category).

Lordy, Rand – PLEASE get rid of the grey background! It makes the site very hard to read.
Rand,
I have no problem linking to your whole page. I don’t agree with you on everything, and thought you were getting kind of silly toward the end of the election season. But you are what you are, and I think the space stuff more than compensates for any disagreements I have elsewhere. Plus, I’m too lazy.
BTW, I liked the color scheme you first tried yesterday (the white background, black letters, with maroon for some of the lettering). But that’s just me.
~Jon
Hmmmm. Now there’s white behind black letters. MUCH easier to read.
Did you change it, Rand, or was it something about my work computer that caused the grey throughout?
No, I changed it (but don’t expect all your complaints to get as quick a response…;-) I had meant to fix it anyway, but hadn’t gotten around to finding the right CSS class to do so.
Rand, when you get around to it, could you highlight the links by making the a different color? Makes them easier to see, dontcha know.
It’s on the list. Partly a matter of deciding which colors to use for decoration, hover, etc. I may underscore the hover.
